Be Kind
If you can be anything in this world, be kind.
But be kind does not mean be a doormat.
Be kind does not mean you let yourself be bullied.
Be kind does not mean you let others be bullied.
Being kind starts with being kind to yourself, standing up for yourself and to others who are unkind, in a way that is not mean or hurtful or unkind. Stand for kindness. Set boundaries to make sure you respect yourself and for others to also respect you. When your heart sees how kind you are to yourself, it will grow. To the point it will overflow and spillover to other people.
Kindness is one big heart touching another heart and both growing bigger.
Kindness is contagious. So spread kindness.
Don’t shrink from it. Don’t shrink others with your lack of it. Instead know it, and grow it.
Kindness is free. Kindness is something so valuable that anyone can give for free.
Everyone needs a little kindness. Everyone can give a little kindness. A little kindness goes a long way.
So next time you need a little kindness, be kind. And chances are, it will be returned in kind.
